About Our Products
Our Face Masks are manufactured to PPE grade for civilian use, having been tested and certified to EU FFP2 standards and KN95.They feature a unique enhanced anti-viral protection layer of Graphene polymer and provide a comfortable fit with maximum breathability.
Using a British innovation called “Graphene” – pioneered by scientists at The University of Manchester and developed by Nobel Prize-winning physicists; Graphene is the thinnest, lightest and strongest compound known; consisting of an ultra-thin sheet of graphite atoms. Since its discovery in 2004, it has been used in many progressive applications from DNA sequencing to nanomedicine. The amazing properties of this game-changing material are increasing as scientific research continues.
Our Freedom series masks are enhanced with Polygrene™, this is a graphene polymer made with the world’s only Graphene Council Verified Graphene Product, Nanene™. Nanene™ offers best of class protection against the microscopic particles that cause respiratory illness and the spread of viral infection.
Graphene, the super-filter
What is it, and why is it so effective?
Regarded as a “super filter”, Graphene has anti-viral and antibacterial properties combined with filtration capabilities at extremely small particle sizes (0.3 microns). This enhanced protection makes Graphene-based polymer materials leaders in the field and perfect for general use PPE such as Face Masks and Scrubs.
The Freedom series masks meet the following global standards:
European standard EN 149:2001+A1:2009
British Standard BS EN 14683-2019.
Asia Standard KN95, KN99 Certified
CE-marked under the Directive EU 2016-425.
Antibacterial performance certified according to GB/T 20944.2.2007.
Antiviral certification to ISO 18184:2014 (E)

Our sanitisers use Hypochlorous acid. This weak acid (chemical name HOCl) is produced by the human immune system to kill invasive organisms and fight infection. PPE Defends sanitiser is sourced from the global leader in the production and application of HOCl and has been tested in independent UK laboratories and leading research facilities. It fully complies with the rigorous European Biocide Regulations (EU 528/2012) and our suppliers own the required and approved active substance dossiers.
Your staff and customers are your business’ greatest assets. The impact of absence due to infection or anxiety on your business could be massive.
The UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) states that face coverings and masks that are not CE marked are “unlikely to provide the protection expected or required”. PPE Defends Face Masks meet this minimum requirement.
The HSE also has guidance for employers who are providing sanitiser for their workers and others to use in their workplaces. In particular information related to UK authorisations/registrations under the UK Biocidal Products Regulations (UK BPR) or the EU Biocides Regulations (EU BPR). The HOCl Sanitiser PPE defends has sourced has all the necessary regulatory approvals.
It makes sense to use certified PPE quality masks and Regulatory approved sanitisers in the workplace.
